Britain's No.1 Trader

GRS is the country’s number one trader of recycled, secondary and primary aggregates for the construction industry. This is where the business started and has continued to excel, as we supply high-quality bulk materials from any producer.

Nationwide network

Our regional trading teams work with a network of supply partners and freight operators to secure the right materials at any volume and at the right price.

Supply Chain Solutions

Our mission is to drive end-to-end efficiency in the supply chain, whether that’s through the specification and sourcing of the right materials, finding the optimum way to move them from A to B, or repurposing unwanted materials back into the supply chain to close the loop and make sure nothing is wasted.

Infrastructure Expertise

We have decades of experience in successful delivery across major infrastructure, such as HS2, Sizewell C, Thames Tideway, Crossrail, Heathrow Terminal 5 and many more. But, we’re equally equipped to serve regional and local construction projects of all sizes.

Our unique producer-agnostic, enterprise supply-chain approach means we supply primary, secondary and recycled materials from all sources and we leveraging multi-modal logistics (road, rail and marine freight) to ensure end-to-end efficiency.

All of this is in line with our vision to be “the driving force behind a circular economy in construction” and we have countless examples supplying low-carbon aggregates produced from demolition waste, mining spoil and industrial by-products.

HAULIER NETWORK

GRS Trading is supported by a nationwide network of independent hauliers, selected to operate in accordance with our rigorous standards of safety and customer service.

There are multiple advantages of working with GRS as an independent contract partner and many of our contractors have enjoyed the benefits of continued loyalty as the business has grown.

Driving for GRS also brings with it responsibility – these are summarised in our Independent Haulier Handbook. In it we outline the primary responsibilities of anyone driving for GRS as an independent haulier, a subcontracted haulage company, or an employee or contract driver of an independent company. Topics covered include health and safety, driving and the law, the GRS values, delivery procedures, administration and processing.

If you would like a copy of our Haulier Handbook or would like to enquire about being an independent contract haulier, please speak to your GRS representative, email hauliers@grsroadstone.co.uk or fill out our contact us form.
